Celebration of First Breath

Confetti Balloons

Today I celebrate taking my first breath on this plane of existence. I am always amazed at the fact I chose to come here this lifetime. I may not have remembered why I wanted to come but as the years have gone by and I evolved it has become clearer and clearer.

Much has transpired from first breath up to this very moment–from a tumultuous beginning, to a turbulent young adulthood to a rocky maturation stage I have lived through it all. I have loved so hard I shattered, cried so hard I almost drowned and despaired so deeply chasms in my core were forged and yet here I am. Happy.

I am happy for every piece of me that shattered, every tear and every pain I experienced. I am grateful for each and every person who taught me the lessons I needed to understand what love truly is by allowing me to experience what it isn’t. I am in awe of the connectedness of every living thing, knowing that connectedness helps one to rise up when needed, give solace when appropriate and offer guidance when inspired.
As I reflect on my journey thus far I am exceedingly grateful for everyone I happen to notice whether I know them or not. They are all part of this intricate web of creation. We are all Love in motion whether it is expressed as such in each moment or not. The fact is, if we treat each other with dignity and respect the chances of that Love showing itself is greater than if we remain in judgment.

Today, I will breathe. With each breath I will remember who I came here to be. With each breath I will hold you all in such positive light that your remembering will be easier too. Thank you everyone for touching my heart and my soul in so many delightful and inspiring ways.

Psychic Predictions

psychic predictions

***spoiler alert***

I am about to write something that will ruffle a few feathers for some. Be that as it may, it has never stopped me from voicing my truth.

I am often asked to make psychic predictions in my line of work. Why shouldn’t people ask when I label myself as a psychic medium? It is a common and appropriate question. However, my response is not what people typically expect. I don’t make psychic predictions. I believe they are disempowering to individuals. So how can that be? Aren’t psychics supposed to ‘know’ the future?

The truth is, we can, but not in the way that most people think. We can tell what someone is inviting into their reality by the feel of their energy, the things they say, and the issues they are most focused upon and how they are focused upon them. It is like the GPS of a reading. So in the interpretation of where the GPS is taking them do we tell them their worst fears will be realized very soon? No. The task of the lightworker is to redirect the energy to their benefit. So do we tell them they will win the lottery on Wednesday and all will be well? No. We merely give them something more positive to focus upon. We gently turn their boat around so that it is pointing downstream. We give them relief from their intense focus on what they don’t want and give them permission to focus on what they do want. A psychic can read the direction of energy and in their re-direction of that energy can see how things might be if the recipient’s focus changes thereby inferring a different possible outcome. Still, it depends solely on the recipient’s participation in moving toward that different possible outcome.

With this new focus seeded during a reading the recipient’s task is to hold onto the positive thought structure and feel it, live it, breathe it, focus on it. Then and only then will their future bend and turn to their desires. Depending on the momentum they have built up in the opposite direction it might turn out they experience just a little change in their circumstances, which is better than nothing. Some will focus intently and realize significant changes. The choice is theirs. The choice is always theirs. No psychic reader can make the choice for them.

Your focus is your power. Wherever you place it to any degree or intensity you are inviting what is focused upon into your reality. You are that powerful. A psychic will provide you clarity on what is possible but it is up to you to keep your boat turned so it flows effortlessly downstream. There is no concrete prediction from a psychic that doesn’t involve your participation–in fact–there is no prediction uttered by a psychic that doesn’t involve your participation.

It is probably not in your best interest to view psychics as charlatans, although in any given profession you may experience a few. We can identify trends and currents but a psychic can never focus for you, choose for you or live for you. They can lift the fog of confusion so you may glimpse your own clarity and your own answers. They will direct you back to your own authentic power each and every time–or at least they should. If they don’t and insist that their predictions are accurate and you should believe them–and you do–then you have effectively given your power away. In that way the process becomes disempowering.

I realize I may have taken much of the mystery and drama out of the equation when it comes to psychic predictions. However, you deserve to be reconnected with the wonder and power of who you are. Once you begin to understand the nature of energy you will be well on your way to solving a part of the great mystery of who you truly are and what is infinitely possible. Life becomes a series of effortless moments.

Psychic predictions. You are in charge. You always have been.

Leave The Door Open

ara mag
It is always interesting to me to watch the Universe unfold in the magical way it does. What seems more extraordinary to me is when you have the opportunity to watch it encompass and impact those you love. There is nothing more wonderful than seeing loved ones choosing growth and expansion. I am in the midst of this kind of experience and, as usual, feel compelled to share it others so they may perhaps understand that the wizardry of the Universe as well.

Growing up I had heard that abilities such as mine, being clairvoyant, clairaudient and clairsentient, were a product of the gene pool. Being adopted I had no way of finding out. However, as years passed I was fortunate to find my birth families and was so excited at the prospect of learning who I inherited these abilities from. You can imagine my disappointment when I learned that no one knew of anyone in the family before me that demonstrated any kind of psychic or mediumship abilities at all. I resigned myself to the understanding that while I am in human form I will perhaps never know the origin within my roots.

In getting to know my birth families it became evident to me that not only did they not know of family members who possessed these abilities—many of them did not believe in anything of this nature. The feeling of ‘home’ started to disintegrate before my very eyes. Once again I was looked upon as different and my abilities viewed as a by-product of an over active imagination. Still, I could not change who I was and in spite of everything I persevered and committed myself to a lifelong path of service.

Through the years my accomplishments and achievements have been met by cool nods of tolerance. Not once did they make me feel ‘less than’ but it was very clear that their belief structure was not even remotely ready to include acceptance. Until now.

I had the good fortune to be featured in a London, England based magazine called, Becoming Psychic. This upstart of a magazine is turning out to be a trendsetting endeavour that is fast tracked on the path to wild success. Not only was I on the cover of the magazine but there was a full spread inside with an in-depth interview. While I have never been one to wave a banner around when it comes to what I am doing or where the work is taking me, I had a moment of inspiration and decided to send the link to the magazine to my birth father. I didn’t expect a response other than a quick message telling me how ‘nice’ it was. I was quite surprised when his response was warm and wonderful. In his email he indicated that in reading the interview he garnered so much knowledge of what I do and commented that I expressed it all so confidently. This led him to understand the depth of my commitment and the passion with which I live and serve others. While he may not yet understand the work itself it really doesn’t matter. What matters to me is that he is opening to the possibilities of it. He is choosing expansion of Self instead of closing the door to that which unnerves him.

It is one thing to accept others but to accept another while leaving the door open to learning more is remarkable to me. I do not have a need to convince anyone. I am not on a crusade of my rightness. I am merely sharing a part of me with him that has always been there–a part he was not willing to entertain for many years. Today, he has chosen to learn. I am immensely happy!

In closing, I felt it important to share this tiny experience with all of you simply to show that if we all stop taking things personally and insisting that others understand and accept us fully there might come a day when a miracle happens. Accept everyone as they are–but leave the door open. It is an open door to enrichment and empowerment. My birth father is on a journey just like the rest of us. What a wonder it is to be so intricately involved. I know with certainty he is walking through my open door—only because he has opened his. Today, I am looking forward to a long conversation on the phone with him. He is eager and excited to talk about all of this and my heart is expanding with joy at the mere thought of sharing this with him.

For those of you with open doors and who would like to know more about my work, here is the link to the magazine interview.

Remember, it is important to share yourself freely, be grateful always, love joyfully and accept all things graciously. Leave your door open.

Predictions versus Trends

As a psychic, people consistently expect predictions to flow through me like a raging river tumbling over a cliff. I do not dabble in predictory services simply because I have a keen sense of the power that we are. A prediction sets the target on future events and our belief creates the dynamic that moves us toward that target. It is evident, at least to me, that whether or not a prediction comes to fruition is predicated on a collective consciousness belief structure on a global scale, and a personal belief structure on an individual scale. Predictions are constructs created in the illusion of our reality and generate emotion within that illusion. It is the emotional component that dictates at all times. I am a firm believer that the future is forged by every choice we make in the Now as that is the only place our power actually resides.

There are trends that we can be aware of as opposed to predictions. Trends are the underlying vibrational surges and waves that ebb and flow within us all at all times. It is in this way that we always have the knowledge and insight we require to base our choices and decisions within our illusions. We are energy. It cannot be any other way. We are not static beings. We are constantly riding the wave.

Because the nature of my services is based vibrations it just stands to reason that I will feel the vibrational wave and its current direction. It is the direction that allows the trends to be perceived. At present, the wave is especially strong so the trend is easier to discern. Whether or not the trend manifests itself into a conclusion (prediction) is immaterial. It is what we do with the trend, how we perceive it, and the choices we make within it that makes the difference.

The current wave, as stated, is strong. Energy has shifted and new dynamics have been created, as they always will be, when energy shifts. This is nothing to fear. It is simply the nature of who we are. This wave feels clearer, sharper than ever before which smacks of revelations–not the biblical revelations–but of secrets being uncovered. Secrets that have long been held will begin to show themselves. How this manifests will be the tantalizing mystery to many. If one understands the nature of energy, specifics won’t matter as the energy itself permeates all things, therefore, all things are impacted. It isn’t about knowing what will happen, it is about understanding yourself Now that will allow you to respond as events manifest.

These are exciting times. Worry less about knowing with certainty what will happen tomorrow, next month or next year. Know that the power to deliberately ride the wave of wisdom is who you are. Trust yourself. Trust your instincts. Surf’s up!

When Worlds Collide

It is evident to me that clarity in the services I provide is long overdue.

Labels are a necessary evil on this plane. They define us, they give others a frame of reference as to what we might do. They do not, however, adequately reflect who we truly are. People do, however, expect you to live up to them even though their lens is purely a subjective one.

For instance, the label that is easily recognizable to many is that of ‘Psychic Medium.’ People seem to know at first glance what the label connotes and are either instantly interested or they politely look the other way, which, in essence doesn’t bother me one iota as the label is not who I am it is what I do.

The label, ‘Psychic Medium’ is actually redundant because all mediums are psychic but not all psychics are mediums. Nevertheless, some choose to use it as a reminder that one is more than a medium and more than a psychic. To each their own. Either way, people generally know what they are getting when it is time to consider booking the service.

Add to this label, “Transformation Coach’ and people scratch their heads. This extended label suddenly has blurred the line between something that is ‘known’ with something that is not. It has piqued curiosity in some and consternation and confusion in others.

What is a Transformation Coach anyway? In my case, and I can only speak from my vantage point, but considering I coined the phrase you are getting this right from the horse’s mouth so to speak. In my work as a Medium I was led by Spirit to see there was more to life than living, struggling, a glimpse of joy, grieving, feigned peace and then death. What matters most to loved ones ‘on the other side’ is how we continue to live. Little by little I was offered the tools to assist in transforming one’s life from something tedious, arduous, painful and mundane to something joyful. They also are effective in helping one re-self-define after a loss so they are able to embrace the joy they truly are and begin to live again. Not only do these tools have the ability to impact the grieving, they are useful to anyone who wishes to let go of the struggle and live within their innate power. I should know because I never offer anything I have not learned, implemented and live in my own life. In essence, the label “Transformation Coach” was borne from my work as a Medium. It is part and parcel of the work I do. Given I dedicate a strong focus to the empowerment of individuals I can certainly see how and why Spirit worked with me in this way.

My work as a Medium is entirely rewarding as I am able to impart evidentiary messages from loved ones in non-physical to those still here. There is no question how powerful the impact can be on one who is grieving. It truly can be a catalyst to healing. With each session I conduct I consistently marvel at Spirit’s loving generosity in allowing us to know that we do not die. Evidence and messages are a most wonderful gift for all concerned. But is it enough? Chances are it is for some but not for all. Some definitely are in need of and ask for the answer to, “But how do I go on?” The expertise of Transformation Coach becomes relevant.

As a Psychic, people may be disappointed to know that I do not give out winning lottery numbers. If winning the lottery was so important in one’s lifetime then we would all be winners and I would be typing this Blog from my laptop on a beach in the Bahamas. I do not dabble in doom and gloom messages such as, “Never get on a #4 bus on a Thursday.” I believe, and so do my guides, that the only messages that are vital and worthy are positive and empowering ones. It is this way because being empowered and living authentically keeps the #4 buses on Thursdays from being an issue at all. The life path guidance is all to do with you and your empowerment. It is a proactive approach to help you in your life by lifting the fog of confusion which helps you see your own choices more clearly. Your future is not mine to predict. It is yours to create. All I will do, through the good guidance of my Spirit Guides is point you in the direction of the opportunities that are scattered along the path you walk. How do you identify these opportunities and know whether you should take advantage of them? By being aware of your innate power which I teach through the lens of Transformation Coach.

Chakra work is another part of the session as my guides believe that if we are aware of the vibrational energy we are storing within that is not of benefit then we might be more apt to heal it. In that way we are actually helping to sustain our physical form as well. How do we set about healing in this regard? By the tools offered through the Transformation Coaching.

When worlds collide–being the world of a Medium and the world of Transformation Coaching, everything is affected, everything is enhanced. The psychic guidance becomes more than the answer to ‘Does he really love me?’ and the mediumship becomes more than a response to, “Is my loved one around me?” It breathes a new life into life.

We are all here to evolve and grow. If I am to evolve and grow, which I am, then my work should evolve and grow as well, which it has and will continue to do so. Thus, the extended label. Suggesting that I should be labeled only as a Medium indicates I can and will do only one thing and that is converse with loved ones on the other side. Asking me to pigeon-hole myself into one area of expertise is like asking the weather person to only focus on the temperatures and ignore the rest of the forecast.

Some may find the label too lofty, cumbersome or confusing. Perhaps this will help– Mediumship is a sure fire way to find relief from the pain you are experiencing. The Transformation Coaching helps you evolve through the pain and begin to live the expanded version of yourself that the painful experience has caused you to become. Two intermingled approaches to one goal–and that is to live to your true potential.

When selecting from the wide and varied menu of Psychics or Mediums to provide their unique services to you it is important to have a frame of reference and know what you are actually signing up for. Their services are often multi-faceted and may offer many tools to assist in living authentically. Many may appear as appetizers on that menu but many are also the full meal deal.

I have chosen my label because it depicts an evolving foundation of the work I am engaged in–which is more than being a Medium. It was not chosen to deliberately confuse or confound. It was not chosen to stand apart from others. It was a fair and balanced decision to accurately reflect what I do. Perhaps at some point in the future we will not need labels at all. At that time you will more than likely hear me say, “Hello! I am a fellow traveler, how can I help you?”

For now, I will remain,
